This Santoku knife, H10-DL-EG, in the three-layer steel version, with a blade length of 12 cm is an all-rounder in every kitchen and has excellent edge retention. "Three virtues" means "Santoku" in Japanese and translated into the world of knives, this Asian blade shape perfectly handles cutting tasks in meat, fish and vegetables.
This small Santoku is, like its big brother, a real all-rounder and ideal for many uses in the kitchen. If you compare the small Santoku with western knife shapes, the best use is the "Petit" universal knife. - Here, it is perhaps more a matter of passion as to which knife shape you choose.
The Santoku knife is made of three-layer steel. The blade grind is flat and slightly convex and impresses with its excellent edge retention.
