The Hohenmoor knife manufacturer H8-DL-Nakiri, the translation means leaf cutter and thus gives this blade shape a vegetarian touch. The Japanese blade shape, which is mainly designed for pressure cutting, enables cuts that are not possible with a curved cutting edge. The blade is made of 240 layers of the finest carbon steel and is hand-forged and ground with great skill.
The beautiful damask pattern is made visible by meticulous hand grinding and subsequent etching. This creates a slightly relief-like and topographical-looking surface, with ever new and unique patterns. Each damask knife is therefore a hand-made unique piece in its pattern and appearance with high standards of functionality, design and charisma.
Special features:
- Blade made of finest, hand-forged, 240-layer Damascus
- Extremely sharp
- Excellent resharpenability
- Rockwell hardness 61-62 HRC
Enjoy your knife: Keep your knives professionally sharp with strops and water whetstones . Clean your knife under lukewarm water and use a scratch-free dishcloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards to avoid any patina.
