H1-D-MO, the Hohenmoor cutting icon, is hand-forged and sharpened with great skill. 240 layers of carbon steel with a slightly convex grind on the 19 cm blades provide impressive cutting performance. The handles made of repeatedly hard-oiled, approx. 2000-year-old bog oak form a wonderful contrast to the magnificent blades. The H1-D-MO is a universal knife with a European design and is at home in many cutting tasks.
The beautiful damask pattern is made visible by meticulous hand grinding and subsequent etching. This creates a slightly relief-like and topographical-looking surface, with ever new and unique patterns. Each damask knife is therefore a hand-made unique piece in its pattern and appearance with high standards of functionality, design and charisma.
